Pineapple Benefits

The pineapple is a sour fruit full of benefits and nutrients for our body. It is popular because of its diuretic power, but its qualities go beyond that.

This tropical fruit can have a 80% of water, turning to be an hypochaloric food. The pineapple contains an enzyme called bromelain which helps our body to improve the intake of proteins.

The pineapples offers organic acids, common in certain citric fruit. The malic acid and citric are present. The first help in the harnessing of energy from the food, while the citric is an antioxidant.

VITAMIN C IS THE MOST ABUNDANT IN THE PINEAPPLE

The pineapple is rich in potassium, mineral which eases the flow of nutrients into the cells. It also has other minerals as the iron, which takes part in the oxygen transmission through blood, or the magnesium.

Fibre has a wide presence in the pineapple, sharing certain laxating feature and being a great intestinal regulator.
